Full Stack PHP Developer

SUMMARY:
We’re seeking a talented and versatile PHP Laravel Developer to join our growing development team. You’ll play a key role in building, maintaining, and optimising applications across a modern tech stack, with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.

POSITION INFO:
You’ll collaborate with a team of passionate Developers and Engineers, contributing to the full software development lifecycle — from concept and design through to deployment and support. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP (Laravel 8/9+).
• Design and implement scalable, secure RESTful APIs.
• Manage and optimise MySQL databases, including schema design and query tuning.
• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS (Lambda, SQS, SES, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM).
• Work with Laravel Vapor for serverless deployments.
• Implement secure authentication using Sanctum and Passport.
• Build and enhance front-end functionality using JavaScript (ES6+) and jQuery.
• Integrate and manage mail processing, file storage, and real-time broadcasting features.
• Ensure applications meet security best practices (OWASP Top 10, CSP, CORS, XSS, CSRF, etc.).
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement efficient CI/CD and environment management practices.

• PHP & Laravel (8/9+) — Eloquent ORM, queues, events, middleware, jobs, and schedules
• JavaScript (ES6+) & jQuery
• SQL / MySQL — schema design, indexing, and optimisation
• AWS — Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SES, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, and Aurora Serverless
• API Development — RESTful design, caching, sessions, and rate limiting
• WebSockets / Real-time Broadcasting
• Security — OWASP standards, authentication, and encryption
• Mail Processing — SMTP/IMAP protocols and MIME parsing
• Headless Browsers — Puppeteer (or similar)
• Environment Management — multi-environment config, CI/CD, and secrets handling
