Location: Menlyn (Hybrid – 8 days/month in office, subject to change by Manager)
Contract Duration: 01 October 2025 – 31 December 2028 (3-year renewable, subject to performance & project availability)
Eligibility: South African citizens / residents preferred. Applicants with valid work permits will also be considered.
 
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Digital Vehicle Sales / Trade-in team. This is a dynamic opportunity to work on cutting-edge platforms, with a strong emphasis on frontend Angular & Typescript development while also leveraging your backend expertise.

POSITION INFO:
Essential Skills & Requirements

• Strong Full Stack development experience with a focus on frontend (Angular & Typescript)
• Solid understanding of system integration across technologies
• Experience in:
• Java 11, J2EE, Junit
• SQL Queries & Optimisation, PostgreSQL
• JAX-RS, JPA, JTA, ORM, Flyway
• Angular 10+, Typescript, Karma/Jasmine, HTML/CSS, Web Components
• Maven, Jira/Confluence, X-Ray, GitHub Actions, GitHub
• Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills
• Ability to coordinate between development and support environments
• Agile mindset and willingness to take on additional AWM responsibilities

• Previous web and digital project experience
• Hands-on Agile working experience
• Expertise in on-premise virtualisation technologies
• Background in testing (manual or automated)

• Relevant IT Degree / Qualification
• 6+ years’ experience in full stack development
• Solid experience across development lifecycle – from requirements analysis to delivery and maintenance

• Develop, maintain, and optimise applications/platforms
• Present system solutions to IT Project Managers, Leaders, and stakeholders
• Prepare system and technical documentation (ISO standards)
• Participate in daily stand-ups & Agile ceremonies
• Train and mentor colleagues when required
• Compile user & operational manuals
• Conduct system audits and risk management
• Ensure delivery aligns with quality and business expectations
