Duties:

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend components of web applications.
• Design, implement, and optimise APIs and database structures to ensure efficient data flow.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to create user-friendly applications.
• Ensure security, performance, and scalability in all development processes.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full technology stack.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to best practices.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Honour’s degree in related field will be advantageous.

Experience:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in fullstack development.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable web applications in an agile environment.
• Experience in optimising application performance and debugging complex issues.
• Previous work in cross-functional teams, collaborating with designers, product managers, and QA engineers.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong experience with backend development using Node.js, Python, Java, C#, or PHP.
• Expertise in working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
• Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
