JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a leading financial services company based in Cape Town, is looking for a Fund Accountant to join their team for a 4 month contract.The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and focused individual, someone who is able to solve complex problems and has clear decision making skills.

Responsibilities:

Prepare daily reconciliations
Investigate and clear all bank reconciliation items daily
Prepare annual financial statements, trial balances and general ledgers
Support and engage with stakeholders for the preparation of the audit.
Provide technical support and assistance to immediate team

Requirements:

BComm (Accounting) or BBusSci (Finance).
Experience within the financial services industry
Strong analytical and numerical skills
