Finance Operations Lead

SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast‑growing, purpose‑driven financial services business operating within the asset management and fintech space. This role offers hands‑on exposure to complex investment operations across multiple asset classes, with close collaboration across international teams. You’ll step into a high‑impact position where accuracy, ownership and commercial thinking are highly valued.

POSITION INFO:

Oversee and execute accurate investment deployments, distributions, fee disbursements and scheduled dividends across various funds and structures
Perform regular reconciliations to ensure integrity of investor funds and financial records
Support investment, executive and stakeholder teams through ad‑hoc financial analysis and data extraction
Own and resolve operational issues end‑to‑end, ensuring appropriate controls and compliance standards are maintained
Manage and mentor a direct report, driving a culture of accuracy, accountability and service excellence
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems, processes and financial controls in a growing environment
Collaborate with finance colleagues across multiple international jurisdictions

Skills & Experience:
Completed SAICA articles and registered AGA(SA) or CA(SA)
Post article experience beneficial
Strong exposure to finance operations, reconciliations, fund accounting, or investment administration
High level of attention to detail with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets
Proven ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and meet critical deadlines
Confident communicator, able to engage with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, scaling organisation with evolving processes
Experience managing or supervising junior team members will be advantageous

Qualification:
Completed BCom Degree
Competed SAICA articles
