SUMMARY:
A subsidiary of a Global Financial Services Company requires your completed relevant University Degree and proven passion for investment industry in the position of a Fund Accountant.

POSITION INFO:

Accounting degree and some exposure to financial services!

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Collate, calculate, process, investigate and check information in order to produce the accounts/ valuations of the specific Fund within defined deadlines and regulatory requirements

Prepare, monitor and capture cash movements

Prepare and perform weekly / daily cash and stock reconciliations

Monitor daily / monthly asset pricing and pricing sources for corporate actions to ensure securities are updated and valued correctly on
InvestOne

Perform and check weekly / daily expense and accrual calculations to ensure that they are reflected correctly

Proactively investigate queries with dealers brokers custodians auditors and clients

Communicate and escalate potential issues in a prompt and effective manner

Monitor and perform weekly / monthly compliance checks

Excellent numeracy skills
Completed articles
Attention to detail
Relevant tertiary qualification (degree in finance, accounting, investments or similar)
