JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is currently seeking a GCC Mine Engineer with experience in Opencast Mining, to be based in Gauteng.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements

Government Certificate of Competency (mines and works)– GCC (non-negotiable)
BSc Degree or Engineering National Diploma
5+ years of experience in the mining industry, at least 1 year in an Open Cast Mine Machinery context and beneficiation plant experience.
5+ years managerial experience and leading a team of Engineers
Medically Fit
At least 2 years past appointment as responsible engineer (Reg 2.13.1 as well as MHSA section 7(4)
Maintenance planning and scheduling experience
Proven track record of compliance to the MHSA and strong leadership skills
Experience in hydraulics
Experience in electronics / electrical engineering would be a strong advantage
