SUMMARY:
General Manager: Software Development

POSITION INFO:

Primary purpose of the role is to lead the development function within the organisation
Manage a multi-skilled delivery team covering a range of
technologies, define and lead continuous improvement of delivery processes
Involvement with high level technical design of solutions and champion of Lean/Agile development within the organisation.
Software Development Executive establishes and directs the strategic long-term goals, policies, procedures and competencies for the organisation’s software development (including software quality)
Provide support and guidance in the adoption of DevOps practices within the development teams, as established by
the specialist DevOps function.
