Global Investment firm, whose focus is on sustainability and the pioneering of finance solutions, is currently expanding their dynamic Finance team and in search of a resilient Group FM to join their growing concern.

The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and interacts with the Global offices.

You will be responsible for the overseeing of all finance, accounting and reporting activities for the group as well as provide support to the senior leadership team by planning financing strategies, supervising financial activities analysis, and creating improvements in controlling procedures.

One would describe you as having strong financial and business acumen, exposure gained within the highly regulated industry being that of investments / financial services and the proven ability of improving finance automations and efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting at the entity and consolidate level
• Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organisation
• Manage the finance team members and provide guidance and training
• Responsible for automations and efficiency improvements
• Plan, organise and execute financial tasks and projects to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Manage external and internal audit engagements
• Prepare statutory and regulatory financial reports
• Preparation of necessary finance board packs
• Management/Execution of ad hoc projects

Qualifications and Experience required:

• CA(SA) qualification [or similar] with 5 years plus relevant experience in the financial services sector is essential
• Solid command of written and verbal English with excellent report-writing and communication skills
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics a+ and other financial software
• High levels of meticulous attention to detail with superb organisational skills is a non-negotiable
• Strong learning agility
• Strong knowledge of complex accounting standards
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skill
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• International travel as per the requirements of the business may be required
