GROUP REPORTING MANAGER - JHB

SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for both Management Reporting and Financial Planning and Analysis, delivering value added management information and insights to Business Leadership and ensuring the integrity of those numbers reported on a timely basis; developing templates for management reporting packs for the group and ensuring compliance with standard templates; managing reporting, including analytica

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

Chartered Accountant qualification (or equivalent.)

SKILLS:

• Advanced Computer skills in Power Point, Word, Excel etc. 
• Advanced skills in Excel developer view and or Visual Basic SQL or similar.
• SAP and SAP BI/ Power BI experience an advantage.
• Ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on, pragmatic delivery. 
• IT Skills to lead, process and reporting developments to achieve key tasks, and to give the business a sound reporting base.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills with strong oral presentation skills.
• Capable of working in a matrix environment.

EXPERIENCE:

• Strong accounting/finance background in a multi-location environment.
• Experience in “business unit” finance / FP&A Experience working with large financial consolidation / forecasting systems (such as IBM TM1 / Cognos or Hyperion Planning, SAP and SAP BI or MS BI) Demonstrable financial modeling skills.
• Worked in a complex multinational with hands on experience of managing teams in continental Europe.
• Track record of achieving results through others.
• Proven commercial acumen and ability to contribute to decision-making.
• Management skills to maximise the performance of staff working directly for them and others
• At least 10 years post articles experience.
