Key Responsibilities

General Ledger Management

• Managing the full general ledger function
• Reviewing GL accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Processing journals, accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications

• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving variances
• Reviewing third-party transactions for accuracy and compliance
• Ensuring effective financial controls and regulatory adherence

• Supporting the preparation of financial statements and reporting schedules
• Preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation
• Liaising with internal and external auditors to resolve queries

• Overseeing banking and treasury reconciliations
• Managing foreign exchange transactions and related accounting
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Coordinating annual asset verification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 3–5 years’ experience in General Ledger or Financial Accounting
• Strong understanding of IFRS and VAT
• Experience working with SAP
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
• Exposure to audit preparation and external audit support
• Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail
