We are looking for a highly skilled General Ledger Accountant with strong technical accounting expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and a solid background in complex financial reporting environments.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

â BCom Accounting / Finance Degree
â SAICA Articles completed preferred
â Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience
â Strong experience in General Ledger Accounting
â IFS ERP system experience is ESSENTIAL
â Strong IFRS knowledge and application
â Specialist-level technical accounting ability
â Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

ð¹ Full General Ledger accounting function
ð¹ Month-end and year-end reporting processes
ð¹ Preparation and review of financial statements
ð¹ Balance sheet reconciliations and account substantiation
ð¹ IFRS compliance and technical accounting application
ð¹ Journal processing, accruals, and provisions
ð¹ Fixed asset accounting and intercompany transactions
ð¹ Financial analysis and variance reporting
ð¹ Managing audit preparation and audit queries
ð¹ Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data within IFS
