POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:

You will be responsible for supporting the integrity of the general ledger, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the timely completion of month end reporting processes. This role is ideal for a technically strong accounting professional who thrives in a deadline driven environment and enjoys working across multiple areas of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations
Perform stock and fixed asset reconciliations
Manage accruals, journals, petty cash, and payment releases
Conduct age analysis and monitor outstanding balances
Prepare tax, VAT, and statutory calculations
Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes
Support internal and external audit requirements
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
Assist with ad-hoc financial reporting and finance-related projects
Support continuous process improvement initiatives within the finance department

Job Experience & Skills Required :

BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
SAIPA qualification advantageous
2–3 years' accounting experience
Newly qualified SAIPA professionals are encouraged to apply
Experience supervising or coordinating indirect reports advantageous
Experience within the Automotive or Motor Industry preferred
Strong understanding of reconciliations, VAT, tax, and statutory compliance
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
Experience with macros advantageous
Experience on Drive IA / Autoline advantageous
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
