JOB SUMMARY:
Our Client in the financial services seek a General Ledger Accountant, to assist the IFRS 17 GL implementation team with the testing and reconciliation of the new SAP general ledger to-be account.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with the testing and reconciliation of the to-be account mappings of the new SAP general ledger to comply with IFRS 17 GL requirements;
Follow up of discrepancies noted and liaise with the relevant functional and technical team members to resolve differences;
Maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with client''s implementation partner, product owners, functional and technical team members, and users;
Perform other related tasks as may be identified.

Experience Required

Experience in General Ledger/Sub-Ledger implementations
Knowledge of SAP systems advantageous
Insurance industry experience advantageous
Advanced Excel skills a must

Qualification

B Com Accounting degree
