JOB SUMMARY:
A well-established financial services specialising in currency exchange with multiple branches across the country is looking to hire a driven and industrious General Ledger Accountant to join their fast paced, hardworking team, based in Pretoria East.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well-established financial services specialising in currency exchange with multiple branches across the country is looking to hire a driven and industrious General Ledger Accountant to join their fast paced, hardworking team, based in Pretoria East.

Your duties include but are not limited to strong support to the Financial Manager and CFO, import and reconciliation of several bank accounts on in-house systems as well as Sage. You will oversee reconciliations of customers and suppliers. Petty cash allocations and income statement journals as well as bank allocations. Capturing of creditor payments and customer EFTs and payments.

Education Requirements:
BCom in Finance/Accounting or studying towards

Job Requirements & Skills:
3 to 4 years' experience in an accounting position
Extensive General Ledger experience
Experience working on Sage
Strong personality
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player
Must have own reliable transport as traveling might be required
