General Manager - Citrus - Letsitele

SUMMARY:
Our client that is in the Agricultural industry is looking for a General Manager to join their team in Letsitele.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• B.Sc. Agric. An added business degree will be an advantage
• Min.10 years’ extensive experience in general farm production of citrus fruit trees;
• In-depth knowledge of all farm production and packhouse related practices e.g. general production practices and management, fertilisation, pest and disease control, fruit manipulation, mechanisation, utility management, safety and health, environment, quality (SHEQ), harvesting process to pack plan, general personnel and financial admin, risk management, staff and financial management, annual biological asset calculation, limiting expenses, budgeting
• Computer related skills - MS Office, Outlook etc.
• Must be literate and conversant in Afrikaans and English with good interpersonal skills at all levels
• Prepared to work long hours/overtime and willing to travel extensively throughout the Group
• Ability to plan and self-manage with highly developed time management skills
• The ability to report, monitor and measure business activity
