POSITION INFO:

A global financial services organisation seeks a passionate and innovative Generative AI Data Scientist to join their team. In this role, you will lead the development, fine-tuning, and deployment of state-of-the-art generative models (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models, GANs) to solve real-world problems across our products and services. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive AI innovation, build scalable solutions, and shape the future of our AI capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design, train, and deploy Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Stable Diffusion, DALL·E, etc.)
• Fine-tune foundation models using domain-specific data and RLHF techniques
• Develop scalable data pipelines to support model training and evaluation
• Analyze model performance and optimize for accuracy, efficiency, and ethical AI principles
• Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to integrate AI models into applications
• Stay current on the latest research in Gen AI and propose innovative solutions
• Create technical documentation and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience:

• MSc/ Bachelors in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field
• 4+ years’ experience in AI/ML, with a focus on generative models
• Strong experience with Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face)
• Deep understanding of NLP, computer vision, and/or audio generation
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, diffusion models, transformers, or GANs
• Solid grasp of data engineering, MLOps, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
