AI Modelling Services Manager

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
You will be responsible for driving end-to-end AI solution delivery, from strategy and solution design through to deployment and production support. Working closely with clients and cross-functional teams, you will lead the development of scalable, enterprise-grade AI products and solutions, mentor technical teams, and help organisations realise the business value of AI through innovative and practical implementations. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI projects. Design, develop, deploy, and operationalise production-grade AI solutions. Build, fine-tune, evaluate, and optimise Large Language Models (LLMs). Develop Agentic AI solutions and intelligent automation capabilities. Lead AI application and product development initiatives from concept to production. Engage with clients to understand business challenges and identify AI-driven solutions. Facilitate solution design workshops and provide strategic AI advisory services. Oversee AI model deployment, monitoring, governance, and performance management. Drive the development of reusable AI frameworks, accelerators, and best practices. Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations. Mentor and develop AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and technical team members. Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. Ensure adherence to responsible AI, security, compliance, and governance standards. Drive continuous innovation across AI delivery and operational processes. Experience and Skills Required: Education: Bachelor's Degree in: Computer Science Data Science Engineering Actuarial Science Information Technology Mathematics Statistics or a related field Advantageous: Honours Degree Master's Degree in a relevant quantitative or technology discipline Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, AI Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 years' people management experience leading technical teams. Proven experience building and deploying production-grade LLM and Generative AI solutions . Experience delivering enterprise AI products and applications from design through to production. Strong client-facing consulting or stakeholder engagement experience. Proven project management experience delivering multiple complex technology projects. Experience implementing AI governance, monitoring, and operationalisation frameworks. Exposure to cloud-based AI and data platforms. Technical Skills: Large Language Models (LLMs) Generative AI Agentic AI and Multi-Agent Systems Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Prompt Engineering Fine-Tuning and Model Optimisation Machine Learning and Deep Learning LLMOps and MLOps Intelligent Automation AI Product Development AI Solution Architecture Python Development API Development and Integration Cloud-Based AI Solutions Model Deployment and Production Support Key Competencies: Strong leadership and people management skills.
