Top Specialist Generator firm seeks Generator System Design Engineer - Electrical Design. Technical Design of Generator Systems.

   * 5 years Technical Generator System Design

   * 3 years AutoCAD or TurboCAD

   * 3 years Deep Sea or CompAp Controllers

   * 3 years Parallel Synchronised Generators on Common Bus

What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Specialist Generator sector. All duties would take place in this context.

   * Generator System Design (Single Line Diagram)

   * Generator Control Level Design (Detailed System Schematic)

   * Electrical Panel Design (Layout and Wiring)

   * Using Deep Sea Controllers & ABB Switch Gear

   * Develop Component Schedule for Generator System

   * Parallel Generator Systems e.g. 3 x Synchronised Generators on Common Bus

   * Component Protection e.g. Automatic Voltage Regulator, Soft Loading Transfer Switches, Governors, Engine & Alternator Management

   * Detailed Drawings on AutoCAD or TurboCAD

Key Job Deliverables:

   * Produce Detailed Technical Design of Generator System

   * Correctly Program Controllers

   * Correct Component Protection

Background work experience:

   * 5 years Technical Generator System Design

   * 3 years AutoCAD or TurboCAD

   * 3 years Deep Sea or CompAp Controllers

   * 3 years Parallel Synchronised Generators on Common Bus

   * Electrical Engineering Related Qualification or Equivalent Experience

   * Technical Design of Generator Systems

   * Low level detailed Generator Designs which includes both System Level and Control Level Designs

   * Detailed Technical Generator Drawings on AutoCAD or TurboCAD

   * Configuring, Wiring and Programming of GenSet Controllers like DeepSea and ComAp

   * Designing multi-Generator banks which are synchronised to each other and to mains

   * Advantageous: Experience in Battery Backup Systems
