A leading international organisation is seeking a professional and customer-focused German-speaking Consultant to join its growing team in Cape Town. This is a permanent, office-based opportunity suited to candidates who are native or first-language German speakers with strong communication skills and previous experience in customer support, claims handling, insurance administration, travel assistance, or a related service-driven environment. The successful candidate will provide professional support to customers while managing queries, case-related administration, and claims-related communication in a fast-paced, international environment. Key Responsibilities Provide professional customer support in German (spoken and written) Manage customer enquiries and claims-related queries professionally and efficiently Handle documentation, administration, and system updates accurately Support customers through claims, service requests, and case-related processes Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer matters and ensure timely outcomes Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures and service standards Escalate complex matters where required and ensure appropriate follow-up Deliver a professional, empathetic, and high-quality customer experience at all times Minimum Requirements German as a native \/ first language (spoken and written) is essential Strong English communication skills Previous experience in insurance claims, claims administration, travel insurance, customer service, financial services, assistance services, or a related environment will be highly advantageous Strong administration and organisational skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure Computer literacy and confidence working across multiple systems Strong communication and problem-solving ability Personal Attributes Customer-focused and professional Strong attention to detail Able to work in a structured, fast-paced environment Empathetic and solutions-driven Team player with excellent communication skills What’s on Offer Permanent employment opportunity Office-based role in Cape Town Exposure to an international working environment Career growth and development opportunities Competitive salary based on experience
