JOB DESCRIPTION:

An international leader in the mining and manufacturing industry is looking for an innovative Global Mining Optimisation Manager to join their team. This listed company has been around for over a century and has a global footprint in 23 countries across 6 continents offering an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of their expansion. This role will be focused on developing and distributing best practices in Mining Optimisation. The role will include duties such as:

Mining optimisation strategy plans
Build, guide and develop a team of mining optimisation experts
Provide mining optimisation expertise
Research and develop methods, techniques, and technologies
Provide support in troubleshooting through analysis
Develop and deliver training strategy and plans
Improve in-house and clients’ mining optimisation knowledge
Develop and track budget

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications & Experience

Postgraduate degree in Mining Science
10 or more years’ experience in mining
Mining engineering knowledge
Proficiency in business processes, corporate governance, and statutory requirements
Project – and change management
