Global Network Operations Manager (CCNP/Telco)

SUMMARY:
Our client a leading multi-national Telco requires a Global Operations Manager who will be responsible for managing the efficient, day to day operations of the Global Network Operations Department, ensuring stability of the network and optimal Customer satisfaction. 

The successful incumbent will need to have a minimum of 7 years' experience in an Enterprise & Wholesale multi-national telco environment, plus extensive MPLS/VPN (L2/L3 experience - hands on experience in a BGP, IS-IS environment.

• Knowledge of Cisco WAN networks.
• Thorough understanding of network design.
•  Understanding of all applicable employment legislation.

• CCNP (service provider) / CCIE is advantageous.
• BSc in Comp Science or Engineering.
• Formal leadership development.
• Post Grad Diploma in Management.
• MCITP - Windows Server - MCSA advantageous.
• Azure Fundamentals.

• Minimum 7 years'' experience in an Enterprise & Wholesale multi-national telco environment.
• Extensive MPLS/VPN (L2/L3) experience - hands on experience in a BGP, IS-IS environment.
• Firewall implementation and support (Telco security experience).
• Cyber Security Planning and Architecture experience.
• Network architecture experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a middle management role.
• Minimum 3 years'' SDN/SDWAN Technology and Architecture experience.
• Soft skills (Visio, Excel, Word, Power Point).
• Project Management in a Telco environment.

• Manage Customer Satisfaction.
• Manage Human Resources.
• Manage Customer OLA''S.
• Manage Client Networks.
• Management Reporting.
