SUMMARY:
Our client, based in Elandsfontein, is seeking to employ a Golf Cart Business Representative to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to develop and grow the golf cart market by promoting batteries, tyres, and related products. The successful candidate will be responsible for business development, customer relationship management, sales administration, stock coordination, and delivering exceptional customer service while achieving sales and profitability targets.
POSITION INFO:
Requirements: Matric or N3 Electrical qualification, or an equivalent technical qualification. Sales and Marketing qualification (NQF Level 5 or 6) is advantageous. Minimum 3 years' experience in a Sales Representative or Business Development role. Experience within the golf industry is advantageous. Computer literacy (MS Office). Experience working with SAP, ERP systems, or similar business software is advantageous. Valid driver's licence. Willingness to travel to customers as required. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies to grow the golf cart market and increase market share. Identify, canvass, and secure new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance. Prepare and submit regular sales and activity reports. Promote batteries, tyres, and related product offerings. Introduce and implement marketing and promotional initiatives. Host customer product demonstrations and awareness events. Assist customers with credit applications and account support. Support the collection of outstanding customer accounts. Ensure company vehicles and equipment are maintained in accordance with company policy. Liaise with warehouse personnel to ensure stock availability. Monitor customer buying patterns and assist with stock forecasting. Advise customers on stock management and inventory optimisation. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and statutory regulations. Identify and report operational risks. Maintain effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally. Conduct product training and pricing presentations for customers. Support customer database maintenance and updates. Provide point-of-sale material and product support to customers. Assist customers with product claims and stock rotation procedures. Ensure correct pricing structures are maintained. Monitor gross profit performance and implement corrective actions where required. Control operational expenses and optimise company resources. Contribute towards achieving departmental sales and profitability targets.
