SUMMARY:

Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering graduate engineer required to assist the company with Harness designs of Vehicles. International Factories. The person we require must be interested in the design of electrical components and systems - product development.

POSITION INFO:
Junior Mechatronic or Electronic Design Engineer

Centurion

Junior engineer required at design specialist company. Will be involved in aspects of first principles as well as improvement on existing Products ranges.

Qualification and skills required:

B. Eng (Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering). MEng preferred
0-1 years of working experience.
Must be willing to travel overseas for variable periods
Must be interested in designs for Products
Experience in Schematics, Wiring Design, Routing, Machine Design.

Responsibilities:

Harness design
Medium and Heavy duty truck chassis harness design using 3D CAD – and 2D Schematic software.
Vehicle Electrical Systems Design, including 3D Wiring design in Siemens NX, creating 2D Harness Drawings and Schematics.
Electrical Component Integration
Evaluate scope of work and manage project timelines
Prepare bills of materials and their representative 3D assemblies (Unigraphics NX)
Entering designs and related info into PDM software on Team Center
Ensure designs meet supplier and regulatory requirements
Design with cost saving, ease of installation and servicing in mind
