We are currently seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer on behalf of our esteemed client — a respected and innovative player in the Defence industry, known for its commitment to excellence and cutting-edge technology.

POSITION INFO:

About the Role:

As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic engineering team, working on real-world projects from day one. You’ll gain hands-on experience in design, development, testing, and optimisation of mechanical systems, with mentorship from senior engineers and access to state-of-the-art tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems
Conduct analysis and testing to ensure performance and safety standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project updates
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng or BSc)
Minimum average of 85% in Matric
Strong academic performance throughout university
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
