SUMMARY:
Graduate Mechanical/Electrical Building Services Engineer (MEP) wanted!
POSITION INFO:
Support Senior Engineers in delivering comprehensive MEP services design work, under their guidance, and develop into a Senior Building Services Engineer through continuous learning, hands-on project exposure, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Technical Execution:
- Assist with concept, detail, and tender designs across relevant MEP disciplines.
- Participate in site investigations and develop due diligence and condition reports.
- Prepare specifications, design documentation, and bills of quantities.
- Support tendering processes including contractor adjudication and appointment.
- Project Lifecycle Involvement:
- Contribute to all project stages as defined by PROCSA agreements.
- Attend project and site meetings to ensure that design intent is upheld.
- Monitor construction activities and perform inspections during the build phase.
- Represent the firm professionally at client, consultant, and supplier engagements.
- Development & Compliance:
- Register and maintain Candidate Engineer status with the ECSA.
- Work towards professional registration through continual learning.
- Stay informed on technical trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
- Internal Collaboration:
- Coordinate closely with internal disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).
- Liaise with draughting personnel for the delivery of accurate drawings.
- Create and maintain a materials and equipment library for internal use.
- Performance Areas:
- Financial responsibility on project deliverables.
- Business process adherence and improvement.

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):- A completed BSc/BEng in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for building services
- Eagerness to learn and grow into a leadership role
- Good communication and report-writing skills
- A proactive mindset and high attention to detail
