POSITION INFO:
Join a well-established, market-leading property group and contribute to shaping the financial integrity of a prestigious JSE-listed company. This is an ideal opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants exposure to high-level group reporting and listed-company practices.

As a Group Accountant, you will be central to the preparation and review of financial statements, consolidations, and compliance processes, supporting the broader finance team in driving accuracy and transparency across the group.

Duties:

Prepare group consolidations and comprehensive reporting packs
Draft and review Annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS
Support the external audit process and maintain effective liaison with auditors
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting requirements
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, JSE reporting obligations, and internal controls
Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions

Education and experience:

BCom Accounting degree
Proven experience in group reporting and consolidations
Exposure to a listed company environment is a strong advantage
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills
