POSITION INFO:
We are looking for a sharp, commercially savvy Group Accountant to join a fast-paced, high-performance finance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving financial oversight and strategic support across multiple business units. With a strong focus on compliance, accuracy, and operational insight, this position offers the exposure and complexity that experienced professionals thrive on, especially in a project-driven, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Group Consolidations: Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts across entities.
Financial Reporting: Deliver timely and accurate financial reports in compliance with relevant standards and internal requirements.
Stock Management: Oversee stock control processes, valuations, and reconciliations.
FOREX and Treasury: Manage foreign exchange exposure, hedging strategies, and cash flow planning.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead budgeting cycles and provide detailed variance analysis.
Team Collaboration: Partner with project teams and operations to support financial performance.
Audit and Compliance: Coordinate with internal and External Auditors, ensuring audit readiness.
Team Support and Leadership Reporting: Present financial results and insights to senior management and stakeholders.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Qualifications: BCom Accounting; CIMA highly preferred
Experience: 8–10 years in a similar group or consolidated accounting role
Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering / Project-based environments
Technical Strength: Advanced Excel; ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, and Syspro preferred)
Specialist Knowledge: Proven experience in FOREX, treasury, and stock management
