As the Group Accountant, you’ll handle everything from consolidations and management reporting to treasury and forex. This isn’t your average Group Accountant role - it’s where finance meets engineering, and numbers meet the nuts and bolts of real operations. A leader in the manufacturing and engineering industry is looking for a Group Accountant to bring structure, strategy, and oversight to their dynamic business based in Germiston, Johannesburg East.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee management accounting, consolidations, and group reporting
• Manage treasury, cash flow, and foreign exchange transactions
• Handle stock management, costing, and project accounting processes
• Support business leaders with financial insights and performance analysis
• Ensure compliance with financial standards, controls, and procedures
• Partner with the business on strategic planning and budget management

• BCom Accounting or Finance Degree – essential; CIMA preferred
• 8–10 years’ experience in manufacturing, engineering, or project accounting
• Solid understanding of stock management, costing, and reporting
• Experience with FOREX, treasury, and consolidations essential
• Strong management accounting and analytical skills
• Confident communicator with leadership potential and commercial acumen
• Employment Equity male preference, but open to all strong applicants
