SUMMARY:
Are you a CA(SA) or strategic finance professional ready to take on a high-impact role? We’re hiring a Group Accountant to lead consolidated reporting, drive financial strategy, and support executive decision-making in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.

POSITION INFO:
ð° R 700 000.00/R 800 000.00 per annum (Negotiable based on experience)

ðï¸ About the Role:
This is a pivotal role in a growing group of companies within the heavy machinery and construction space. You’ll work closely with the Financial Director and senior leadership to ensure accurate group-level reporting, compliance, and financial planning.

ð Key Responsibilities:

Prepare consolidated financial statements across multiple entities
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis at a group level
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, and statutory requirements
Support strategic initiatives, including CAPEX and investment planning
Liaise with Auditors, banks, and external stakeholders

ð Qualifications & Experience:

Education: CA(SA) or BCom Honours with strong consolidation experience
Experience: 5+ years in a group or senior accounting role
Skills:
- Strong IFRS and consolidation knowledge
- Advanced Excel and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple teams and entities

Hybrid work model
Occasional travel to group sites
