POSITION INFO:
A leading player in the Property, Real Estate & Asset Management sector is searching for a Group Accountant who can bring control, consistency, and excellence across a portfolio of dynamic entities.
Based in Sandton, this role is built for a finance professional with a BCom + completed articles and 5 years’ experience, who knows how to navigate group structures, manage full finance functions, and produce technically flawless reporting.

ð Key Responsibilities:

- Manage full group consolidations
- Prepare monthly group reporting packs for senior leadership
- Own Annual Financial Statements for multiple entities
- Oversee tax: VAT, income tax, provisional tax & compliance
- Execute the full finance function across the group
- Ensure clean GLs, accurate reconciliations & strong controls
- Support audit processes, governance & compliance requirements
- Analyse performance trends & support financial decision-making
- Partner with operations, asset managers & the senior finance team

ð Job Experience & Skills Required:

- BCom degree + Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles essential
- 5+ years post-articles experience
- Strong exposure to group accounting, consolidations & AFS
- Taxation experience across multiple entities
- Excellent technical IFRS knowledge
- Strong Excel + ERP capability
- Analytical, structured, detail-driven and deadline-focused
- Confident, articulate and capable of operating in a complex environment
