POSITION INFO:
We’re looking for a driven Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys working with large transaction volumes, and is eager to contribute to the financial integrity of a growing organisation. If you take pride in meeting deadlines, maintaining compliance, and ensuring financial processes run smoothly, this role is for you.

Duties:

Process and reconcile high volumes of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
Manage and review daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
Prepare journals, general ledger reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes where required.
Assist with VAT calculations and submissions.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve queries and improve financial processes.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BCom Degree in Accounting or a related field.
Completed articles (SAICA/SAIPA or equivalent).
1–3 years’ post-articles experience in any industry (retail experience advantageous).
Strong ability to manage and process high volumes of transactions.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
