SUMMARY:
Are you a qualified CA(SA) with around 2 years’ post-articles experience and ready to move beyond traditional accounting?
Our client is looking for a commercially minded Group Accountant to join their finance team and play a key role in group reporting, cash management, budgeting, forecasting and executive reporting.
This is an opportunity for a technically strong CA(SA) to gain high-level exposure to the broader business, work closely with senior stakeholders and turn financial information into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.

POSITION INFO:
What you'll be responsible for: Prepare, review and analyse monthly management accounts and group reporting Assist with group consolidations, variance analysis and financial commentary Oversee payments, cash management and cash-flow visibility Support budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis Monitor working capital and proactively identify cash-flow risks and opportunities Prepare executive and board reporting packs, including polished financial slides and insightful commentary Perform detailed reconciliations and ensure reporting deadlines and financial controls are maintained Partner with finance and operational teams to understand key movements and drive improved financial visibility Provide ad hoc financial analysis and insights to senior management What we're looking for: CA(SA) with approximately 2 years' post-articles experience Strong technical accounting and reporting foundation Exposure to group finance, consolidations, audit, commercial or multi-entity environments Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills Strong analytical, reconciliation and reporting abilities Comfortable preparing board packs and executive-level presentations Commercially aware, resilient and highly detail-oriented A hands-on individual who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven head-office environment
