POSITION INFO:

A market leader within the service provider industry is currently seeking to recruit a qualified Chartered Accountant to take on the role of the Group Accountant. Our client operates in various of the African countries within the continent and has operated successfully for more than quarter of a century. The successful individual must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and have reporting and consolidations knowledge. Duties:

Managing the monthly variance analysis and providing commentary on the financial performance.
Consolidation of the Group budget for the management reporting pack.
Preparation of the Group consolidated financial statements.
Managing the corporate month end accounting process.
Supervising junior accounting staff.
Preparation of the monthly management reports.

Qualification and Experience:

Qualified CA(SA)
2 – 4 years post article experience
Must have previously dealt with consolidation of financial statement
Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints

Skills:

Advanced excel knowledge
IFRS
