SUMMARY:
A market leader within the retail space is currently seeking to recruit a qualified Chartered Accountant to take on the role of the Group Accountant.

POSITION INFO:

Our client is an independent next generation organization, who is currently seeking to recruit a qualified Chartered Accountant to fill the role of their Group Accountant. This blue-chip company has been successful in their operations for almost a century and is a noteworthy multinational brand within the commercial sector. Duties:

Managing the monthly variance analysis and providing commentary on the financial performance.
Consolidation of the Group budget for the management reporting pack.
Preparation of the Group consolidated financial statements.
Managing the corporate month end accounting process.
Supervising junior accounting staff.
Preparation of the monthly management reports.

Qualification and Experience:

Qualified CA(SA)
3 – 5 years commercial experience
Must have previously dealt with consolidation of financial statement

Skills:

Advanced excel knowledge
IFRS
