A well-established IT and Telecoms services company seeks an experienced and innovative Group Accountant to join their dynamic finance team based in Johannesburg North.

A well-established IT and Telecoms services company seeks an experienced and innovative Group Accountant to join their dynamic finance team based in Johannesburg North.

In this role, you will be responsible for the full accounting function on head office level.

Duties include, but not limited to preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated management reports, interpretation and analysis of financial reports, liaising with external auditors on annaul audits, management accounts, ensuring compliance to group accounting standards and monitoring of compliance and processes across all group companies.

Education:

Degree in Finance or Accounting

Professional body membership (SAICA, SAIPA, SAIBA, CIMA)

Skills & Experience:

10 to 12 years'' experience within a full finance function role is non-negotiable

Group accounting experience is non-negotiable

Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel

The ability to analyse financial information efficiently and accurately

Financial acumen

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
