SUMMARY:
A Holding Group in the North of Johannesburg is looking for a dynamic Group Accountant CA(SA) to join their finance team, The ideal candidate would have experience consolidating about a minimum of 10 entities.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

CA(SA)
1 to 2 years post articles experience in finance reporting

Skills:

IFRS

Job description:

Reporting to the financial manager with a direct line to the CFO
Managing direct reports in accounting team.
Assisting with budgeting monthly, annually.
Do monthly consolidations and financial reporting for the 15 entities.
Be involved setting up all the internal control procedures.
Monthly financial and management reporting
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Fixed Asset Capex maintenance including applications, additions, disposal, depreciation and related accounting entries.
Prepare Exco packs for the board of the holding company.
Adhoc tasks as and when requested
