A well-known property development organization is looking for a Group Accountant to join their team. If you are technical accountant, then this role is perfect for you!

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Group Accountant will be responsible for reconciliations, group annual financials and consolidations. The Group Accountant will also be responsible for budgeting, projecting, and accounting of the group operating expenses as well as complying with IFRS. The successful candidate will be responsible for tax, VAT, debtors, and creditors.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

Newly Qualified CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

Experience with auditing the property and/or construction industries
Sound understanding of IFRS and reconciliations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
In depth knowledge of technical accounting issues
Strong business acumen
Strong analytical skills
Working knowledge of consolidations
