POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Responsible for the monthly and annual consolidations including group closing and consolidation operations, intercompany reconciliation processes and quality review of reporting packages
Preparation of IFRS financial statements
Engagement and management of internal and external auditors
Support in implementation and development of accounting and reporting processes, policies, procedures and systems
Ad hoc tasks when required.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 (Matric);
Qualified Chartered Accountant

Experience:

Big 4 audit background is important
2 / 4 Years Post Article work experience in the commercial industry
Knowledge of IFRS and experience supporting subsidiaries with IFRS application
Experience in a mining company is NB
Consolidating and reporting is important
Technical attitude, ability to quickly learn new systems and procedures.
