SUMMARY:
DBN000151 - Group Accountant – Hybrid/Remote - Agriculture

Please note: This is a 3-6 month contract position, with the possibility to become permanent.

Job Purpose:
Responsible for the financial integrity, accuracy and timeliness of all accounting records across the group.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Professional qualification (CA, ACCA , CIMA, SAIPA)
Must have experience in agricultural/agri-business or farm accounting – not negotiable
Must have experience working with biological assets and cost allocation – not negotiable
Must have experience in cross-border transactions and multiple currencies.

POSITION INFO:
Required Technical Competencies & Experience:

Prepare monthly management accounts and consolidated group financial statements.
Manage weekly group cash flow forecasts and payments.
Ensure IFRS compliance and statutory reporting in all jurisdictions.
Coordinate annual audits and tax filings.
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
