Job Summary:
Reinhardt Transport Group (RTG) is seeking a Group Brand Manager to lead and manage the organisation’s brand strategy, marketing communication, and digital presence across the Group and its operating divisions.

RTG is one of Southern Africa’s established bulk logistics and transport operators, serving the mining, industrial and commodity sectors across South Africa and neighbouring countries.

The Group Brand Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a cohesive brand identity for the organisation while strengthening RTG’s reputation, digital visibility, and communication across all platforms. The role ensures that the Group’s public image reflects the scale, professionalism, and operational excellence of the organisation.

This role requires a strategic thinker who is also comfortable executing hands-on marketing, content development and communication initiatives.

The role operates at Group level and requires the ability to work directly with senior leadership and divisional management to guide brand positioning, communication strategy and marketing initiatives across the organisation.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy & Governance:

• Develop and evolve the Group’s long-term brand strategy aligned with business objectives
• Maintain and manage the Group’s Corporate Identity framework
• Act as the organisation’s brand guardian, ensuring consistent brand representation across all divisions, platforms and communication materials
• Ensure brand messaging supports RTG’s strategic positioning within the logistics and transport sector
• Support divisional management with brand positioning and marketing guidance

• Plan and coordinate brand and marketing campaigns across digital and communication channels
• Identify opportunities to strengthen RTG’s market positioning and brand visibility
• Assist with planning and managing marketing-related budgets where applicable
• Ensure campaigns support recruitment initiatives, industry visibility and brand growth

• Manage the RTG corporate website and related digital platforms
• Oversee social media strategy and content across platforms
• Coordinate digital marketing initiatives including SEO, content marketing and online campaigns
• Monitor analytics and digital performance metrics to improve engagement and visibility

• Coordinate media engagement and maintain relationships with relevant industry publications and media platforms
• Assist with the development and placement of press releases, industry articles and editorial content
• Design and produce advertising material for both digital and print platforms
• Coordinate advertising placements with media houses, publishers and digital platforms

• Plan and coordinate internal and external events including staff functions, client engagement events, golf days and corporate gatherings
• Support divisional teams in organising brand-aligned events across the Group
• Ensure events reflect the organisation’s professional standards and brand identity
• Coordinate event communication, invitations, branding and promotional material where required

• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and market positioning
• Identify opportunities to strengthen RTG’s differentiation within the logistics and transport sector
• Use market insights and performance data to guide marketing and brand strategy

• Oversee the organisation’s online reputation management
• Ensure professional responses to public feedback, reviews or enquiries across digital platforms
• Support corporate communication initiatives that strengthen RTG’s public reputation

• Work closely with divisional leadership to ensure alignment between operations and brand communication
• Support internal recognition programmes, events and employee engagement initiatives where required
• Ensure brand consistency across presentations, marketing materials and corporate documentation

• Track and report on brand and marketing performance metrics
• Provide regular insights and updates to senior leadership
• Use data and analytics to guide future marketing initiatives and brand strategy

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Brand Management, Business or a related field
• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in brand management, marketing or corporate communications
• Experience managing brand communication across multiple business units or divisions
• Proven experience in digital marketing, social media strategy and content development
• Experience working with corporate websites, SEO and digital analytics platforms
• Experience working with media houses, publishers or industry publications
• Candidates should demonstrate both strategic brand management capability and practical experience executing marketing and communication initiatives.
