POSITION INFO:
Shape Long-Term Financial Strategy – Advise the CEO, Executive Team, and Board on capital structuring and strategic funding to enable sustainable growth and competitive advantage
Lead Enterprise-Wide Financial Management – Oversee financial operations across all business units, driving alignment with corporate strategy, operational efficiency, and commercial performance
Drive Strategic Planning & Performance – Lead the development of 5-year business plans, establish robust budgeting and KPI frameworks, and ensure financial governance that supports data-driven decision-making and value creation
Oversee Budgeting and Business Planning – Lead the consolidation of company-wide budgets and business plans, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and enabling proactive performance management
Ensure Financial Accountability and Insight – Monitor departmental spending and investigate budget variances to identify risks, drive efficiency, and unlock opportunities for performance improvement
Lead Strategic Cash and Risk Management – Oversee cash flow forecasting, investment returns, and enterprise-wide financial risk management, including insurance, hedging, and compliance with financing covenants
Drive Capital Efficiency and Stakeholder Confidence – Optimise cash utilisation, support fundraising efforts, and execute dividend and insurance strategies aligned with shareholder expectations and long-term business goals
Build and Lead a High-Performing Finance Team – Develop a results-driven, customer-focused finance function by attracting top talent, fostering leadership capability, and creating a strong succession pipeline—while streamlining processes to minimise bureaucracy and maximise impact
Align Technology with Business Strategy – Lead the development and execution of IT strategies that support business objectives, drive innovation, and ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of technological capability
Skills & Experience:
CA(SA) OR CIMA qualified
Extensive exposure in senior leadership of a listed company dealing with the board
Industry exposure: Renewable energy, Mining, Construction, Manufacturing
Proven track record in strategic development and leading business transformation
NB – Extensive travelling required in this role

CA(SA) / ACMA/CGMA
