POSITION INFO:
Job & Company Description:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation within the healthcare sector that’s looking for a strong Group Consolidation Reporting Accountant to join their finance team. This team is based in Johannesburg West. This is a great opportunity for a technically strong accountant with experience in group reporting and financial consolidations, ideally within a complex or multi-entity environment. You will be responsible for managing the preparation of consolidated financial statements across multiple entities within the group.

Duties include (not limited to)

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
Coordinate with local finance teams across multiple entities to gather, validate, and consolidate financial data
Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and IFRS reporting standards
Support the preparation of board packs, investor reports, and other external financial disclosures
Assist with audit preparations, liaising with external auditors during the group audit process

Education:

Qualified CA(SA)

Experience:

3+ years’ post articles experience within a similar role
Health Care experience beneficial
IFRS consolidation experience required
