POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

Our client is a listed concern and they currently have a vacancy for a Group Reporting & Consolidations Specialist. They are specifically looking for a seasoned CA(SA) with experience consolidating financials for multiple entities within a large group. The successful incumbent must also have experience with JSE-listing reporting requirements. (EE/AA)

* Insurance industry experience highly preferred!

Group Reporting
Review of Complex Group Consolidations
Annual Financial Statements
Management Accounts
CEO/CFO Reports & Board Packs
Group Performance Ratios
Budgets & Forecasts
Financial Projections
Variance Analysis
Balancing Intercompany Accounts & Transactions
Calculation of FOREX Impact on Results
VAT & Tax
IFRS Compliance & Implementation
Group Audit Engagement
Technical Accounting Queries
Staff Management
Adhoc projects or duties

Education: Non-Negotiable

Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) registered with SAICA

Experience & Skills Required:

Min 5 years’ post article experience within a listed entity in the commercial sector, preferably within the Insurance sector.
Must currently be doing complex consolidations for multiple entities
Advanced IFRS knowledge and JSE-listing requirements
