A well-established manufacturing giant seeks an innovative and experienced Cost Accountant to join their team based in Johannesburg East.
This is an urgent vacancy and candidates who can commence employment immediately will be preferred.
In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management of costing systems, including BOMs and WIPs, rate calculations, margin analysis and financial stock control. You will also provide support in finance by posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with accounts payable.

Education:
Completed CIMA Strategic Level or TOP CIMA is a non-negotiable
Skills & Experience:
5+ years'' experience in a Cost Accountant role within the FMCG / Manufacturing environment is a non-negotiable
Operational finance experience is essential for this role
Proficient in building costing models
Experience in cost saving initiatives
Good knowledge of ERP systems
Financial acumen
Strong personality
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player
