SUMMARY:
Technically strong accountant required to support Group Finance across reporting, consolidations, financial statements, B-BBEE reporting and process improvement initiatives. This role offers exposure to group reporting, automation projects and strategic finance activities.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Assist with monthly group reporting and consolidations Prepare and analyse management accounts and board reporting packs Support interim and annual financial reporting requirements Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements Support the external audit process Manage and coordinate B-BBEE reporting and verification processes Prepare debtors risk assessment reports Perform financial analysis and investigate reporting variances Drive reporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives Assist with ad hoc accounting, finance and reporting projects Skills & Experience: Strong technical accounting and IFRS knowledge Experience in financial reporting and annual financial statements Group reporting and consolidation experience advantageous Advanced Excel skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and ability to take ownership Systems-oriented with an interest in automation and process improvement Qualification: BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification.
