SUMMARY:
Reporting to the CFO, this dynamic individual will be responsible for participating in the preparation of various financial reports, evaluating and applying new accounting standards and involvement in strategic projects on a Group level. The ideal candidate would need to have Group Accounting experience, be strong in Group Consolidations and come from Manufacturing or FMCG

POSITION INFO:

Job Description include but not limited to:

Participation in the preparation of the Group’s Statutory and Management accounts.
Preparation of various other financial reports – both planned and ad hoc - for external and internal users.
Participate in processing various consolidation accounting entries in the consolidation system and applying current international financial reporting standards in support of the above reports where applicable.
Participation in evaluating and applying new IFRS where applicable.
Participate in various business development/system improvement projects.

Qualifications and Non Negotiables:

BCom Honours in Finance
CA (SA) OR CIMA
Approximately 3 years post articles experience.
Group Consolidation accounting experience
FMCG or Manufacturing industry
