POSITION INFO:

We have partnered with a leading constriction organization in recruiting a Group Finance Executive, reporting directly into the Group CFO, to be based in Johannesburg

Client Details

Our client is a leading construction and mining projects business, with annual turn over of R3 billion.

They currently have a staff compliment of 2000m with head offices based in Johannesburg

Description

The role of the Group Finance Executive entails but is not limited to the following:

CA(SA) - non-negotiable
Preference will be given to candidates from previously disadvantaged groups
Industry experience : construction, engineering, contracts or project environment, heavy industries
Financial reporting, management accounts, budgets & forecasts
Partner with procurement on cost saving initiatives
Play role of Group CFO''s 2IC
Lead finance teams/business partners in the various operating platforms
Process optimisation
Cash flow management and advise business on how to better manage cash/funds where necessary
Consolidation of accounts for various business units
Manage day to day operations of the finance function, be the audit liaison, manage relationships with external stakeholders such a banking institutions
Hands on approach, must be willing to get their hands dirty- they must be a "doer"
Lead and motivate the team
Manage shared services functions: consolidations,management accounts, tax,audit

Profile

The ideal candidate should possess the following:
