POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Oversee the preparation of monthly and annual group consolidations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across multiple entities. Manage the group audit process, coordinating with auditors and regional finance teams to ensure the successful delivery of statutory and reporting requirements. Drive improvements in group reporting processes, financial controls, and reporting systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the finance function. Support IFRS compliance throughout the group by providing technical accounting guidance and reviewing financial statements where required. Oversee the financial management of head office entities, including cash flow forecasting, budgeting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance. Monitor governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance processes while maintaining key financial records and reporting structures. Partner with external advisors on tax, VAT, and compliance matters to ensure regulatory requirements are met. Support senior leadership through financial analysis, business insights, and strategic projects aimed at driving organisational growth and performance. Skills & Experience: CA(SA) with 2-3 years post-articles experience. Strong experience in group reporting, consolidations, and financial accounting. Sound understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements. Experience managing external audits and operating within a multi-entity environment. Exposure to financial controls, governance frameworks, and process improvement initiatives. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial reporting systems.
