JOB SUMMARY:
Automotive Group Financial Manager - West Rand - Gauteng

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in the Automotive Industry based in the West Rand is looking for a Group Financial Manager to join their team.

Requirements:

Minimum qualification – B Com in Financial Accounting or equivalent (non-negotiable)
5 years managerial experience managing a team of finance professionals
Motor industry experience is essential
ADP, Autoline or Evolve system knowledge is essential

Responsibilities:

Process daily bank recon and resolve all queries raised, submit formal recon at month end
Verify and reconcile till accounts daily
Daily recon of the bank contra-account
Monthly review of general expense
Monthly verify and check repairs and maintenance accounts
Monthly processing of stock penalties and demo amortization
Monthly calculating of loan account interest. Entries and balancing of intercompany loan accounts
Floor plan recon and monthly vat recon
Fixed asset registers and depreciation
Processing and clear daily error reports
Floor plan interest settlements
Monthly submission of Sewells data and review of indirect expenses
Monthly petty cash balance sheet recon per branch, reasonability check
Weekly review of cash creditors and recon of driveway fuel account
Verify floor plan settlement details as received from vehicle invoicing / stock control
Branch liaison relating to allocations
Assist with daily accounts / allocation queries raised by branches
Daily cash management report
Prepare and finalize year end tasks
Bi-annually assist external auditors with queries
Assist with vendor applications as and when required
